HousAt has been launched by Dignitas with a view to empowering people to sell their own properties without incurring the typically high cost of an Estate Agent.
HousAt charges a fixed fee for advertising a property for a 3 month period, and then a renewal fee for each subsequent renewal period. In doing so, HousAts Customers can choose to list their property for as long or as short a period as they want.
HousAt has also chosen to reward its Customers. The fees charged are low and the intent is to maximise the use of these fees in marketing and advertising properties, not the HousAt brand. As such HousAt has included in its Terms and Conditions a Referrer Bonus scheme that pays Customers a reward when they refer others that go on to Register and List a property.
The Site was launched in December 2010, and is currently being marketed through Facebook and Twitter.
